Having been in the business since 1989, I have seen some incredible changes in our industry. When not in the store I am often on the road visiting some of the major industry players learning all I can to be able to present the latest and greatest to our customers. In addition, this knowledge helps me as I visit various state and national organizations to teach others what I have learned. All of this helps in the training and educating of our staff to make sure our customers have access to the newest technology in our frames and lenses.
My goal with Heritage VIsion Center is to make sure every customer is treated with respect. This means that we want to value your time by bringing frame choices to you that will reflect today's trends while also taking into consideration complemetary colors, as well as which frame shapes work best with each face shape and, more importantly, your prescription.
I also want our frame choices and lens options to be the best in the industry. For example, did you know that progressive lenses have been around for half a century? Progressive lens designs have changed a lot over these past five decades. And the changes in technology the last five years have allowed for lenses that are custom made to your prescription and to how the frames actually sit on your face. Sure, we still have access to the older progrssive designs that many of our competitors use on a regular basis and will sell you the older technology if that is what you want. But the digitally designed progressives offer so much better vision. That's probably why over 90% of the progressive lenses are digital progressive lenses. Come let me or my staff explain the difference in person. I think you will agree with our customer that these lens designs are quite impressive.
Hi! I'm Z Davis and I've been with Heritage since 2005. I love my job because I truly enjoy helping and interacting with people. I get a lot out of my job because I know that what I do for my customers is very beneficial to them. It means so much to me to be helping them pick out the frame and lenses that are perfect for their lifestyles. I think that everyone should have different models to choose from as eyeglasses can be a nice accessory to the outfit you choose to wear each day. Casual frames are great for everyday use and dressy frames for work, church, and other social environments.
Two of my favorite hobbies are reading and party planning. Having proper eyewear is very important for reading long periods of time. It takes a lot of strain off of my eyes and allows me to stay focused. This is equally important when I am party planning because I don't want to miss the small details that go into planning the perfect party.
My favorite frames to show my customers are the Silhouette line beause it is just an excellent brand. This company has been well known for a number of years for having the lightest and most durable drill-mounted frames. Silhouette brand is innovative, motivated, and unique. If you are looking for comfort, style, and durability come let me show you the Silhouette frames. This brand alows you to customize your own eyewear by allowing you to choose from a large variety of lens shapes and sizes and several frame style and colors. And, if you don't like the idea of wearing glasses this brand can be the lightest and most unnoticeable. Or you can choose a model with a wide colorful temple for a bolder look. You can also choose from a custom polarized clip that adds virtually no additional weight to your glasses and are extremely fashion forward. The comfort of a Silhouette will astound you and you will probably find yourself among my many customers who, once they wear Silhouette, don't want to go back to anything else.
My name is Jill and, having just started in the Spring of 2014, I’m relatively new to the optical business. But in my short time with Heritage I have come to really enjoy my work here. I love working with people and to try to help them with every eyeglass need they may have. I’m learning new and exciting things every day. For example, did you know that they have lenses designed for work right where you are now- in front of a computer, on a tablet, or using your phone? Well, I do now and I’m anxious to tell you about them.
Just about every bit of my free time is spent with my children. I’m a mother of three and they keep me hopping. I do enjoy relaxing a little bit by working with my salt-water tank. But relaxing is not as important as attending the sporting and school events my children are involved in.
I have two favorite frame lines that I would love to show you. Both have men’s and women’s styles available. My first pair is a frame from Scott Harris. It is a smaller plastic style that has some unique coloring to it. It is a lightweight frame that I have shown to just about every customer I have because they are so fashionable and comfortable.
My other frame choice is from the Taylor Madison line. These frames are hot. Not only are they made out of the best plastic frame material, they are quite trendy. Additionally, every frame purchased from Taylor Madison helps provide a free pair of glasses to someone else in need. I like the idea that someone in a less fortunate country is benefitting every time I sell one! I would recommend these frames to any woman who has a busy schedule but wants to look up to date since they look so good and are so durable. It’s good to know that the color on these frames will remain true for a very long time due to the material that Taylor Madison Eyewear chooses to use.
Coming from a field of experience very different than that of the optical world, I enjoy the work that I do at Heritage Vision Center very much. I have been here since December 2013 and I love learning new things every day that I am here. I recently took and passed the American Board of Opticianry Certification Exam making me one of three certified opticians on staff. In spite of being certified I still learn new things that only experience will bring.
I enjoy activties while away from the office – especially playing sports of all kinds. I also am a volunteer firefighter in our community. With these activities it really helps to have clear sight and the integrity of a frame that I can use and depend on to hold my lenses. For this reason my favorite frames would have to be the Adidas by Silhouette
The Adidas frames are made by a company that keeps the frame strong as well as extremely lightweight. The metal part of the frames are made of either titanium or performance steel that keeps the frame strong. The thin profile is easily mistaken as delicate or unreliable, but the strength of the frames is hard to beat. If they can hold up to the life I lead, I would venture to say that they will be able to benefit you as well. Come let me show them to you today!
Hi! I'm Alyson Speights and I've been a proud member of the staff at Heritage Vsion Center since 2012. I love fashion and consider myself a fairly trend-savvy person. I love to use this in my approach to frames and how I present them. Glasses, while they serve a necessary function, are a wonderful accessory to any wardrobe. I would love to show you how different pairs can be used to spice up any outfit!
Within my personal collection of eyewear I own Taylor Madison's "Allie," Ted baker's "B703", and Kate Spade's "Ally." I alternate my frame choices according to the outfit I choose to wear that day. The Allie is more trendy while the B703 is simple yet sophisticated. My Kate Spade Ally sunglasses are, of course, an everyay choice due to the importance of protecting my eyes from damaging rays of the sun.
My favorite frame line we sell at Heritage Vision Center is the Taylor Madison line. These frames come in many diffeent designs that follow the curret trend of frame styles and include some very unique color schemes. However, this frame line is not only a fashion statement, but also community oriented. Every frame sold in the Taylor Madson line results in a pair being shared with someone in a less fortunate situation than you and I find ourselves. As a partner with Shared Vision International (www.sharingvision.us) I can help someone else see what they should see halfway around the world. How cool is that?!
